Fossil Park East lift the Arnold Bolt Trophy
Fossil Park East, managed by Andy Richardson, were crowned Arnold Bolt Trophy champions after a commanding 77–41 win over Laurence Barnett’s Hoofball in the final, deploying their Free Hit chip to devastating effect.
Their route to the trophy included solid wins over Real Ale Rovers and Laljiland FC, but the real drama came in the semi-finals — a thrilling two-legged tie against Moatys Maniacs that finished 117–117 on aggregate. Fossil Park East edged it on goals scored, sneaking through 4–3 to book their place in the final.
Hoofball had impressed on their side of the draw, knocking out Missing Link over two legs, but couldn’t match Fossil’s firepower in the decider.
A brilliant cup run — and a perfectly timed chip — sealed the silverware for Richardson’s side.

Reality Matchleague: Shadwell Go Top as Van de Ven Slip
It was a bit of a scrappy one in the Reality Matchleague this week, with the blank gameweek catching a few sides out and scores generally on the low side.
Shadwell Town RL made the most of it, edging out Wills Wingdings RL 28–26 to leapfrog Van De Ven Diagram and move top of the table. The previous leaders dropped to second after a surprise 60–23 defeat to GAIS, who climb to fifth with their fifth win of the campaign.
Pukki Bowl FC continued their solid form, seeing off Mafia Four Lions RL 33–26 to tighten their hold on third place. No Kane Do joined the cluster of teams on 15 points, with a narrow 32–25 win over Unbeatables RL, but slipped down a place on points difference.
At the bottom, IFHarltonham Absolut picked up back-to-back victories for the first time this season, beating Swehoops 62–59 in one of the few high-scoring contests of the round.

Manager of the Week goes to Andy for steering Fossil Park East to Arnold Bolt Trophy glory. Worst Manager of the Week goes to Henry, who really does seem to have thrown in the towel this season.
Cheers 🤓
