The Bror Lefin Round 3 delivered plenty of drama, with underdogs making their mark and several ties going down to the wire.
Real Ale Rovers edged out Commitments 60-59 in the closest match of the round, while No Kane Do, a Reality League side, pulled off a major shock by dispatching Masterleague 2 team Fossil Park East 69-51 to continue their impressive cup run.
Unbeatables RL added to the Reality League’s success, claiming a 61-53 win over Coys FC, while Pukki Bowl FC ensured a trio of Reality League teams made the quarter-finals by seeing off Abone FC 60-50.
Elsewhere, Unbeatables edged past fellow Mafia side Wills Wingdings 59-56, Victorious Secret saw off Gremlins 54-47, and Glory Glory, from Masterleague 2, took down Masterleague 1 side Nozy 55-52 in a minor upset.
Former AllSwengland Ligan champions ForeverQPR knocked out Tastur Bondai Barca 57-52, underlining their pedigree despite sitting lower than expected in the league standings.
The quarter-finals take place in Gameweek 30 on Tuesday 1st and Wednesday 2nd April, with the draw set to be held in the coming weeks.
In an unprecedented event, Lloydie takes both Manager of the Week for No Kane Do’s cup heroics and Worst MOTW after Coys FC’s humiliating defeat to another Reality League side, despite playing their Assistant Manager chip. A week of extremes for Lloydie!
Cheers 🤓
