We're back!
I hope you all enjoyed the all-too-brief summer and are ready for another action-packed season of Fantasy Football. Over the break, Swengland HQ packed its bags and moved across the border to sunny Scotland. New home, same chaos.
First, a warm welcome to our latest recruits, Robin and Steve (both new to the Swengland circus), and welcome back to Becks after a year off. Great to have you in the mix.
League shake-up
We’ve tidied up the structure so things are clearer and a bit more competitive throughout the season. We have consolidated the previous four matchleagues into three equal-sized divisions. The Matchleague Premier has been retired, and the Cornie League has also closed after numbers from the West Country dropped to two.
Cups and glory
The Arnold Bolt continues as the dedicated cup for Matchleague 2. Alongside it, we are introducing a brand-new cup competition just for Matchleague 1. We’ve not settled on a name yet, so throw your ideas into the hat on the WhatsApp and Facebook chats.

Manager of the Week goes to Arvid after a cracking 75 points for his Reality League side, PUKKI BOWL FC. At the other end, Josh Deacon takes the inaugural wooden spoon with 27 points for JDeacon7.
Good luck to everyone, and prepare yourselves for the usual highs, lows and questionable captain choices. Here’s to another season of tight match-ups, surprise cup runs and plenty of friendly stick. 🤓
