Matchleague Premier

Week 24 saw Tastur Bondai Barca maintain their three-point advantage at the top of the Matchleague Premier , narrowly overcoming Unbeatables in a tight contest, 46–40. Closest rivals Dzeko & The Bunnymen kept up the chase, securing a solid 49–39 win against Victorious Secret.

Elsewhere, COYS FC edged past Forever QPR 44–42 to strengthen their grip on third, while JDeacon7 climbed to fourth thanks to a comfortable 51–36 victory over Alpha Athletic—a result with added significance as Josh condemned his dad Nigel's side to relegation.

Moaty’s Maniacs earned an important 60–52 result over Badly Good, remaining firmly in the battle for a top-four finish.

Further down, IFK Harltonham continued their revival with an impressive 70–32 win at Wills Wingdings, moving within touching distance of safety. Meanwhile, Replacements secured crucial points, beating Fossil Park East 49–35 to ease their relegation worries.

With only two rounds left, there's plenty still to be decided at both ends of the table..

Matchleague Division 1

In Div 1, Calzio were confirmed as champions despite their 51–44 loss to a rejuvenated Beckenbaurfly. With their nearest challengers all failing to close the gap, Calzio secured the title with two rounds remaining.

Empire of the Son leapfrogged into second, edging a tense fixture against promotion rivals Shadwell Town by a narrow 38–37 margin. Meanwhile, Mafia Four Lions continued their excellent run with a comfortable 51–43 victory over Gothatters FC, moving them level on points with Empire in third, and confirming Gothatters' relegation in the process.

St Ives Seagulls slipped to fourth after a disappointing 51–39 defeat at home to Missing Link, who further distanced themselves from relegation concerns. Gremlins maintained their impressive late-season surge, narrowly defeating struggling Real Ale Rovers 45–41, leaving Rovers precariously close to the drop.

Abone FC pulled clear of immediate danger with a strong 56–35 win at Jurysout, who continue to stutter after a promising mid-season run. In another significant result, Commitments comfortably dispatched Team Gotland 54–28, further complicating Gotland’s battle against relegation.

With Calzio crowned champions and Gothatters FC relegated, attention turns to the tight promotion race and increasingly fraught battle for survival, setting the stage for an intriguing final two rounds.

Playoffs

In Division 2, Team Georgies Boys booked their place in the playoff final with an emphatic 94–65 aggregate victory, demolishing Atleterna 46–20 in the second leg. Atleterna's dismal second-leg total was the lowest score across the entire AllSwengland—remarkably poor considering the stakes of promotion were so high.

Meanwhile, Whalley Range FC edged out By 'Eck despite a narrow 45–42 second-leg defeat, progressing 90–84 overall.

Thanks to a quirk in the playoff structure—driven by league size—our Division 2 finalists now face a dramatic twist: one will earn promotion, while the other will suffer relegation.

In Division 3, Makrillarna comfortably advanced, defeating Kamikazees 58–48 on the night and sealing a dominant 122–91 aggregate victory.

They will meet Bongo Fury, who saw off Henry C FC with a 47–41 second-leg win, wrapping up their semi-final 107–83 on aggregate.

Both finals will take place in Gameweek 38:

Division 2 Playoff Final: Team Georgies Boys vs Whalley Range FC
Division 2 Playoff Final: Team Georgies Boys vs Whalley Range FC
Division 3 Playoff Final: Makrillarna vs Bongo Fury
Division 3 Playoff Final: Makrillarna vs Bongo Fury

With promotion spots up for grabs, the finals promise plenty of excitement.

Reality Matchleague

Matchweek 16 delivered a twist in the Reality Matchleague as Shadwell Town RL suffered a rare defeat, going down 59–40 at home to Mafia Four Lions RL. Despite the setback, they still hold a five-point lead with only two matches remaining.

Second-placed Van De Ven Diagram capitalised on Shadwell's slip, edging past No Kane Do 48–42 to keep the title race alive mathematically.

Pukki Bowl FC maintained third spot with a narrow 44–39 victory against GAIS, while Unbeatables RL continued their late-season recovery, beating Swehoops 52–40 to climb into fifth.

At the bottom, IFHarltonham Absolut snatched a crucial one-point victory (42–41) against Wills Wingdings RL, slightly improving their position at the foot of the table and keeping their hopes of avoiding the wooden spoon alive.

With just two rounds to go, the league positions remain tight from top to bottom, promising an exciting finish.

Manager of the Week

Manager of the Week honours go to Scaley, who guided IFK Harltonham to an impressive AllSwengland-best total of 70 points. At the other end, Worst MOTW goes to Patrik, whose Atleterna side suffered a disastrous week, blowing their promotion hopes in the process.
