Matchleague Premier
The Humphries brothers took centre stage in Matchweek 2 as David’s Moaty’s Maniacs overpowered Jamie’s Dzeko & The Bunnymen 60–32, the widest margin of the week. Forever QPR kept their run going with a nail-biting 65–63 win over Replacements, while holders Tastur Bondai Barca edged past Calzio 57–52. St Ives Seagulls are the only other side yet to drop points and stayed top with a commanding 55–30 victory at Shadwell Town. Elsewhere, Wills Wingdings saw off Victorious Secret 62–50, Unbeatables edged Fossil Park East 52–51, and COYS FC beat JDeacon7 67–59.
Division 1
IFK Harltonham, JurysOut and Commitments all preserved unbeaten starts to set the pace. Harltonham won 53–43 at Atleterna, JurysOut edged Mafia Four Lions 45–43, and Commitments proved too strong for Team Gotland 56–43. Gremlins collected their first points with a 53–38 win at Chacarita, while Eze Does It fell just short 48–46 against Team Georgies Boys. Badly Good squeezed past Alpha Athletic 53–52, and Missing Link overcame By ’Eck 67–56. At the bottom, Atleterna and Chacarita remain without a win.
Division 2
The early frontrunners are Whalley Range FC, Glory Glory, Bongo Fury and Beckenbaurfly, who each secured back-to-back victories. Whalley Range thrashed Cornish Reds 72–39, Glory Glory won 46–39 at Henry C FC, Bongo Fury edged Kamikazees 47–45, and Beckenbaurfly beat Speckled Jims 76–59. Gothatters FC registered their first success with a 39–34 win over Makrillarna, while Red Exiles edged Laljiland FC 44–43. Hoofball and Real Ale Rovers finished level at 56–56 in the division’s first draw. At the bottom, Makrillarna, Henry C FC and Kamikazees remain winless.
Reality League
Kudus To You and GAIS both stretched their unbeaten starts, with Kudus edging Bongo Fury RL 63–58 and GAIS sneaking past Shadwell Town RL 44–42. TheKudostouch bounced back in style by thrashing Unbeatables RL 78–44, while Whiteadders claimed their first victory with a 63–51 result over ForeverGAIS. Mafia Four Lions RL beat Wills Wingdings RL 61–42, and Pukki Bowl FC overcame No Kane Do 52–44. At the foot, No Kane Do and ForeverGAIS remain without points after two rounds.
MOTW
Manager of the Week goes to Keith Lee for the second week running, this time for his Reality League side who, after playing an early-season Bench Boost, produced an AllSwengland-topping score of 78. He edged Carl’s Beckenbaurfly by two points after Carl was docked four for transfer penalties. At the other end, Stuart Lawton takes Worst MOTW with just 30 points for Shadwell Town.
