REPLACEMENTS handed ST IVES SEAGULLS a setback at the top with a 72–60 win, but the leaders still sit first on 45 points. WILLS WINGDINGS did what they needed to do, beating MOATY'S MANIACS 78–58 to move onto 42 and keep the pressure on.
The best performance of the week came from TASTUR BONDAI BARCA, who put VICTORIOUS SECRET away 90–72 and climbed into third on 36. FOSSIL PARK EAST also made a statement, thrashing JDEACON7 85–49 to join the mid-table logjam on 28, while UNBEATABLES beat FOREVER QPR 88–73.
Lower down, DZEKO & THE BUNNYMEN beat COYS FC 63–46 and CALZIO saw off SHADWELL TOWN 79–68, leaving both winners level on 21 points. Behind the top three, COYS FC and JDEACON7 remain locked together on 34, FOREVER QPR stay sixth on 30, and MOATY'S MANIACS, FOSSIL PARK EAST, and VICTORIOUS SECRET are all sitting on 28 after 20 games.
JURYSOUT stayed top on 45 points, but their cushion was cut after CHACARITA beat them 64–43. The gap is now six, with GREMLINS doing the expected job against IFK HARLTONHAM in a high-scoring 103–82 win to move onto 39. EZE DOES IT kept third place secure by beating BY 'ECK 60–51 and climbing to 37.
Just behind, COMMITMENTS kept pace with the leading pack by beating ALPHA ATHLETIC 58–46, leaving CHACARITA and COMMITMENTS level on 36 in fourth and fifth. The biggest scoreline came from MAFIA FOUR LIONS, who put MISSING LINK away 101–62 to reach 30 points, joining BADLY GOOD and MISSING LINK on the same total. At the bottom, ATLETERNA edged BADLY GOOD 55–52 to move to 18, while TEAM GEORGIES BOYS beat TEAM GOTLAND 63–60 and climbed to 22, level with ALPHA ATHLETIC.
GLORY GLORY kept top spot with a 74–53 win over SPECKLED JIMS and move onto 43 points. The main change behind them came from HOOFBALL, who beat BECKENBAURFLY 48–40 to climb into second on 37, while RED EXILES joined BECKENBAURFLY on 36 after winning 64–59 away at WHALLEY RANGE FC. BONGO FURY beat CORNISH REDS 77–67 to go sixth on 34, and REAL ALE ROVERS missed the chance to close on the leaders after losing 53–38 to GOTHATTERS FC.
Further down, LALJILAND FC beat MAKRILLARNA 74–55 to reach 27 points, level with HENRY C FC, who saw off KAMIKAZEES 58–45. GOTHATTERS FC’s win takes them level on 18 with MAKRILLARNA, while KAMIKAZEES remain bottom on 9.
Reality Matchleague returned after an extended break for the first games of the year, and the top two picked up exactly where they left off. FOREVERGAIS stayed first after beating NO KANE DO 79–62, while BONGO FURY RL matched them point for point with a 69–60 win over PUKKI BOWL FC. That keeps both sides level on 33 points, with NO KANE DO and PUKKI BOWL FC still locked together on 27 behind them.
The big scoreline came from MAFIA FOUR LIONS RL, who hit WHITEADDERS for 90–31 to move up to 21 points, level with GAIS who slipped to an 61–47 defeat against KUDUS TO YOU. SHADWELL TOWN RL got an important win in the bottom two, beating THEKUDOSTOUCH 77–56 to move onto 12 points and within one of WHITEADDERS. UNBEATABLES RL started the year with a solid 79–68 win over WILLS WINGDINGS RL, taking them to 19 points while WILLS WINGDINGS RL remain on 15.
Manager of the Week goes to Paul Williams after GREMLINS set the Week 20 benchmark with 103.
At the other end, Worst MOTW is Viv Stephenson, with REAL ALE ROVERS posting the lowest score of the round on 38.
