In Round 1 of the Bror Lefin Trophy, our most prestigious cup competition, there were some cracking results.

Nozy absolutely smashed Shadwell Town 98-59, while Pukki Bowl FC made light work of Gothatters FC with an 84-52 win. Whalley Range FC also cruised past Ifharltonham Absolut with a commanding 73-38 victory.

There were some tight battles too. Henry C FC just edged out Swehoops 63-61, and Wills Wingdings held off Dzeko & The Bunnymen with a 67-61 win. Tastur Bondai Barca had to dig deep for their 70-61 victory over Jurysout. Calzio kept their cup run alive with a narrow 74-72 result against Replacements.

Elsewhere, Van De Ven Diagram looked strong with a 74-55 win over Mafia Four Lions RL in an all-Reality League match-up, and Commitments turned heads with an 89-74 triumph over Hoofball . Some big scores and close calls in the opening round!

Manager of the Week goes to Nosy Iniaghe, whose Nozy side smashed 98 points in a dominant win over Shadwell Town, while Worst MOTW is awarded to Lars Öberg after Missing Link managed just 27 points in a tough outing.
