We’re back after another international break, but first here’s a roundup of all the Matchleague action from before the pause.
St Ives Seagulls stayed top with a solid 62-45 win over Forever QPR, while COYS FC kept pace after a 40-30 victory at Shadwell Town. Wills Wingdings moved into third by beating JDeacon7 49-36, and champions Tastur Bondai Barca slipped back after a 37-32 defeat to Dzeko & The Bunnymen. Calzio continued their resurgence with a 41-32 result over Fossil Park East. Elsewhere, Moaty’s Maniacs edged Replacements 34-32, and Victorious Secret picked up an important 47-44 win at Unbeatables.
Jurysout strengthened their lead with a 46-30 win over Commitments, while Missing Link kept the pressure on by edging Badly Good 46-43. Gremlins maintained their push with a 44-33 victory at Team Georgies Boys, and Mafia Four Lions were convincing in a 61-41 win over IFK Harltonham. Team Gotland improved their position with a 40-30 result at Alpha Athletic, Eze Does It beat Atleterna 40-34, and Chacarita claimed a tidy 39-29 win away to By ’Eck.
Gothatters FC edged Kamikazees 35-34, with Kamikazees coming agonisingly close to their first points of the season. Cornish Reds kept their promotion hopes on track with a 40-34 win at Hoofball, and Beckenbaurfly stayed top after beating Red Exiles 46-39. Speckled Jims remained well placed after a 36-36 draw with Bongo Fury, while Glory Glory continued their form by beating Laljiland FC 39-30. Real Ale Rovers overcame Makrillarna 38-29, and Whalley Range FC earned a strong 43-38 result against Henry C FC.
Bongo Fury RL stay top with an impressive 57-36 win over TheKudosTouch. Shadwell Town RL picked up a valuable 46-41 result against No Kane Do, while Kudus To You edged Whiteadders 40-39. Pukki Bowl FC continued their good run with a 49-45 win at Unbeatables RL, GAIS put in a solid performance to overcome Wills Wingdings RL 44-39, and Mafia Four Lions RL stayed competitive with a 47-40 success over ForeverGAIS.
Manager of the Week goes to Niall Doonan, whose St Ives Seagulls continue their superb campaign. Sitting second in AllSwengland and just eight points off the summit, he posted the week’s highest score with 62.
Worst MOTW goes to Patrik Wedberg for the second time this season, as Makrillarna managed just 29 points. Ade Duke’s By ’Eck matched that total, but as he actually made some transfers this week, the effort earns him a reprieve from the wooden spoon.
