Still under the old transfer rules, season 2004-05 saw another win for The Williams Mafia. The Don John managed his Tasturs to top spot again and was Manager Of The Season (again). A worrying trend was now for sure underway with three of the possible awards then being won by The Mafia. The old transfer rules assisting them in the fatherly brotherly shenanigins.
Harlington Hornets won The Bror Lefin at least, this turning out to be Nick Iddon's last trophy before he left the league. Reason? He didn't like hoping his players would do well on a Saturday if they were playing his beloved Spurs.
I have included 2005-06 which for some inexplicable reason there was no competition. This caused much consternation, especially for Mr. Strohmeier. He called me to demand an explanation and terminated the conversation with what became the Swengland motto but 'that's what Saturdays are for'.
NEXT WEEK: Swengland Is Back!
