It was a busy week of action across the Reality Matchleague, SuperEtten Cup, and Arnold Bolt Trophy, with league battles and knockout shocks unfolding in equal measure.
Matchweek 8 brought drama and tight margins across the Reality Matchleague, with TheKudosTouch climbing back to the top on goal difference after another confident win. They saw off GAIS 63–46, continuing their strong run of form and edging ahead of Bongo Fury RL, who also picked up victory in a close-fought 49–43 contest against ForeverGAIS.
Elsewhere, No Kane Do ground out a narrow 35–34 win over Unbeatables RL, their fourth straight success, while Puuki Bowl FC hit form with a big 61–35 result against Mafia Four Lions RL. Wills Wingdings RL edged Kudus To You 41–40 in the tightest game of the round, and Shadwell Town RL earned a much-needed 54–52 win over Whiteadders to keep themselves in touch at the bottom.
At the top, TheKudosTouch and Bongo Fury RL are level on 18 points, separated only by goal difference, with ForeverGAIS and No Kane Do close behind on 15.
It was a lively round of Superetten Cup action, with most results going as expected — though Eze Does It made sure there was at least one surprise along the way.
Victorious Secret breezed through with a 59–35 win over GloryGlory, while Badly Good saw off COYS FC 58–34. St Ives Seagulls were in control throughout, comfortably beating Alpha Athletic 57–34.
The standout result came from Eze Does It, who held Calzio to a 46–46 draw despite sitting several places lower in the league standings. It was the only real upset of the round and a solid reminder that cup fixtures don’t always follow form.
Both Gremlins and Tastur Bondai Barca came through their all-Mafia ties, with Gremlins winning 40–29 against Mafia Four Lions and Tastur Bondai Barca edging Wills Wingdings 40–32. Missing Link looked sharp again in a 49–38 win over Forever QPR, and Fossil Park East finished things off by beating JDeacon7 57–41..
It was a lively round in the Arnold Bolt Cup, with several lower-ranked sides refusing to be written off.
Whalley Range FC stunned JurysOut with a thumping 74–42 win, while Bongo Fury and Cornish Reds also upset the odds against higher-ranked opponents. But the biggest shock came at the bottom, where Gothatters FC (20th) produced a huge 47–40 win over Real Ale Rovers (11th) to book their place in the next round.
Elsewhere, Commitments showed why they’re top of the standings with a commanding 76–40 win in a heavyweight clash against Speckled Jims, and Replacements and Laljiland FC eased through with routine victories.
This week’s Manager of the Week goes to Rustin, after Gothatters pulled off an impressive cup upset. At the other end, Worst MOTW goes to Carl, manager of Beckenbaurfly, who managed just 27 points — though a few other big names weren’t far behind.

Cheers 🤓
